Ashley and Emma welcome you and your family to Studio 1 Photography. Our photography studio is based within Penmore House, a beautiful Grade II listed building in Hasland, just outside Chesterfield. With free parking visiting us couldn’t be easier.

We offer Family Photoshoots, Pet Portrait Session, Bump to Baby Photo Experiences, Professional Headshots, Boudoir Photoshoots and even Children’s Makeover Parties. Alongside this you can book a bespoke photography session to suit any occasion or group.

At Studio 1 Photography we specialise in Capturing the people that are closest to you…. Photoshoot Experiences
Your Portrait Experience at Studio 1 Photography is all about you and those you love. Through conversation we will learn about your individual personalities, so that we fully understand what you would like to achieve during your photo session. We know how daunting the thought of capturing a perfect family portrait can be, but we can guarantee a fun filled experience in a relaxed atmosphere.
Your photo shoot time may vary, but generally will last up to 60 minutes (120 minutes for a newborn photography sessions). The session will take place in our spacious photo studio which has ample space to capture the whole family together if required. Whether we are capturing precious moments with your newborn, beloved pet or your extended family (up to 20 people) you will have our undivided attention. Each photography session is private as this makes it all the more enjoyable.
Many clients tell us that they like to book professional family portraits every few years, so we love to welcome back families of all sizes. We can capture as many combinations of people as you like during your session, recording the wonderful relationships that everyone has with each other.
After your photoshoot we will invite you back at a mutually convenient time to view your images in our private viewing room. Your family is welcome to join you once again to help you to decide on your favourite shots.
Products
We offer a wide range of professional wall art products, including frames, canvasses, fine art float frames, glass free photo panels and prints – all of which can be used to create personal pieces of art for around your home. Choose from single or multi aperture layouts in a huge variety of colours and styles. The range of options available means that your finished piece will be truly bespoke and perfectly complement your photographs and home interior.
All of our products are printed and hand crafted in house using real wood, acid free mounts and Giclee fine art prints by our highly trained craftsmen. This means we can maintain our high standards from click to finished product.

Together our mission is to offer a superb service to our customers, helping you to achieve inspired, creative story telling photography. We then transform this into personalised pieces of artwork for your home at the most affordable prices.

I contacted Studio 1 via their website regarding a newborn photoshoot. Emma contacted me less than 24 hours from enquiring and a shoot was organised for when my baby was 10 days old. Both Emma and Ashley were very friendly and welcoming.
On arrival, the studio was clean and modern but with a rustic feel. I hate having my photo taken but Ashley made me feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera.

After a recent visit to the studio for a photo session. We were greeted by a young lady with a friendly and helpful attitude and great smile. We were offered drinks and made to feel welcome why we relaxed and awaited our session.
The session was really professional and the photographer did really well to engage and entice my children to be natural and amazing. The pictures were processed and edited it a swift and professional manner and upon our return the viewing was conducted professionally and in a smart setting, must note loved the use of the tv to view the images on.
