Photographs come to life when they are displayed in just the right way. Our larger print and frame options will truly show off every detail of your family portrait. We are always happy to offer our advice to make sure that your piece will suit your home perfectly.
‘Timeless’ Range
You may choose to display your portraits in a traditional quality frame to match your home interior. This is the most popular and traditional choice for our clients. We offer single and multi aperture layouts meaning you can showcase one of your photographs or display several together in a beautiful collage behind a single piece of glass. This timeless style is ever popular and we have a multitude of size, layouts and colours available.
‘Clarity’ Range
Have you seen our modern ‘Clarity’ range? Your portrait will fill the frame completely from edge to edge and be protected by a beautiful finish that you will not find on the High Street. This option is glass free and hand crafted at Studio 1 using a lamination technique to create a UV protective coating. Choose from a Lustre or Matt finish with your choice of outer frame.
Float Frames
Our Premium 3D Float Frames will provide a stylish and contemporary option for your home. This is our signature framing style and we offer multiple layouts allowing you to display up to nine of your favourite portraits in once piece of art. You can also choose from a range of colours to suit your decor.
When displayed in hour home your 3D Float Frame piece will cast a shadow giving an eye catching ‘floating’ effect.
Canvases
Canvas photograph displays are a popular option to display your fabulous portraits. Your handcrafted canvas will be professionally printed in our studio using our high-resolution inkjet printer to give your portraits vibrant colour and sharp details. The canvas is then stretched and wrapped onto a high quality wooden stretcher frame with reinforced corners to prevent any warping.
The quality of our canvas is obvious and this product will become a real feature in your home – a stylish alternative to traditional framing..
Framed Canvasses
Why not edge your canvas photograph with a complementary canvas frame to match your home. This will give a rich and polished finish to your piece.
Photo Panels
Did you know that you can have your photograph printed directly onto a slimline wooden photo panel? You can include one or multiple photographs to create a stylish statement piece in your home that will be a real talking point. This style is created in our studio using a lustre lamination process which is fade-resistant, meaning you can enjoy your piece for years to come.
Fine Art Float Frame
Choose our Fine Art Frame for your favourite portrait and create a stunning visual display in your home. Your photograph will be expertly printed onto fine art photographic rag paper using our professional in house printers, before being float mounted to show off its artistic torn edge finish. The print is then displayed within a shadow box frame, set slightly forward from the mount to create a shadow on your wall. This gives the appearance of a ‘floating’ image – a real talking point and a great way to showcase your new portrait
‘Shelfie’ Frames
Shelfies are a smaller choice of frame, designed to display a single portrait and will perfectly complement any of our wall hung products. You can choose from a range of delightful frames in which to display your favourite portrait on a shelf. Our many combination of Shelfies are available in a variety of sizes and colours so you can have fun creating your own bespoke display to perfectly match your home interior. This is an ideal choice if you’re not looking for something to hang. Shelfies and Sideboard Frames also make a great gift option to share your treasured photographs.
Mounted Prints
Turn your beloved photographs into memories in a box! Our mounted prints are the perfect way to present a number of your favourite portraits before framing them – this also gives a loved one the chance to choose their own style of frame at a later date. Once mounted your prints are ready to easily fit into standard size picture frames. These are the perfect addition to any wall display or a great choice as a gift.
Digital Images
Not ready to print and frame all of your photographs just yet? Why not simply choose a digital selection of your favourite portraits from your session. You can purchase digital images alongside your wall product orders – meaning you can always reproduce more of your prints or copies for loved ones at a later date. You can also enjoy your digital portraits on your phone and laptop or share them on your social media.
Please note that we do not offer digital package alone. Digital options are available when purchasing any photo product. At Studio 1 we believe that too many of our memories are left in a digital format. Your professional portrait session will create beautiful high resolution images that deserve to be displayed in your home as pieces of personal art.

At Studio 1 we print and handcraft all our products in-house using the finest quality materials and inks. We will never lower our standards.
Printing – Your portraits are expertly printed to the highest standard using a Giclée photographic printing process. ‘Giclée’ refers to fine art quality prints created on a professional specialist inkjet printer. This results in prints with more sharpness, shadows and highlighted detail than many found elsewhere. The images are printed onto a selection of Hahnemüle inkjet coated papers and will retain their quality and colour even over time, meaning you can enjoy them for longer.
Mounting
Your photographs will be displayed in conservation level mount card, which means the bevels will not discolour over time. A mount is used to display your prints perfectly whilst protecting your photograph by creating air space between the print and the glass. This avoids any damage that may occur due to condensation gathering in a picture frame. A mount is the professional way of presenting and preserving your photograph for many years to come and is present in all of our picture frames.
Framing
All of our picture frames are hand crafted in our own studio using real wood mouldings. We stock a wide choice of frames so that you can view colours and quality before making the perfect choice to perfectly complement your home interior.
You will be given plenty of time during your viewing session to explore all of our beautiful products. We are always happy to advise on the best products for your prints. All you need to do is make a space on the wall to enjoy your personal piece of artwork!

Our in house printing and framing service allows you to create a bespoke product All of our products are printed and hand crafted in house using real wood, acid free mounts and Giclee fine art prints by our highly trained crafstmen.
Frequently asked questions
We always recommend you the wear something that you would be happy to see your self back in on a portrait on the wall. You want the whole family to look good, feel comfortable and confident in what they are wearing. Keep to natural complimenting colours and simple designs. Avoid bold prints, large designs likes strips, polka dots, logos, slogans and cartoon characters as the tend to date photographs and drew the attention from the portrait subject.
It’s always good to bring a bag containing A comb or brush and hair-spray if you use it. snacks if children are involved and treats if pets come along.
If your families have individual hobbies items that relate to these hobbies can be a great personalisation to your photo session. Props can be great addition, too, so consider bringing your child’s favourite book, teddy or toy. In fact anything that reflects their interests or personalities
Our photo sessions last 1-2 hours depending on how many attendants and ages of children but mostly takes about an hour. You can use this time to capture as many different combinations of your family to get a nice selection to choice from after. for example if gran comes a long we can capture gran with the whole family gran on her own and gran with just the grandchildren eat.

I contacted Studio 1 via their website regarding a newborn photoshoot. Emma contacted me less than 24 hours from enquiring and a shoot was organised for when my baby was 10 days old. Both Emma and Ashley were very friendly and welcoming.
On arrival, the studio was clean and modern but with a rustic feel. I hate having my photo taken but Ashley made me feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera.
I am very pleased with the final product and so happy that I chose Studio 1 to capture those precious memories. They offer a excellent quality service at very reasonable prices.

After a recent visit to the studio for a photo session. We were greeted by a young lady with a friendly and helpful attitude and great smile. We were offered drinks and made to feel welcome why we relaxed and awaited our session.
The session was really professional and the photographer did really well to engage and entice my children to be natural and amazing. The pictures were processed and edited it a swift and professional manner and upon our return the viewing was conducted professionally and in a smart setting, must note loved the use of the tv to view the images on.
The wide selection of images made choosing almost impossible. Highly recommend and will be visiting again soon. Thank you.

Had two different photoshoots done by Ash and been really pleased each time first was a family one at the studio and 2nd was just recently of mine and my new hubby’s wedding day. The studio is lovely and feels so relaxed. Ash is just amazing at what he does, easy to get along with and you can tell he loves his job.
Waiting on my wedding photos but I know I’ll love them as I loved our family shoot.
