Makeup

Emma offers a natural approach to makeup. You will receive excellent skin care and a bespoke makeup application to create a beautiful naturally enhanced version of you. Your makeup will be applied to perfectly compliment you for your photoshoot. Emma will chat to you about your style and work with you to create your perfect look.

Hair styling

Emma can create any hairstyle that you would like for your portrait session and has plenty of experience with all hair types. You can choose expertly straightened hair, volumised curls or a pretty and perfect updo. You can bring your style ideas along with you to show Emma what you have in mind.

‘Just for you’ Makeover Photoshoot Experience

Your ‘Just for you’ Makeover Photoshoot is a great way to boost your confidence boost and capture some beautiful portraits. This makeover and portrait session is all about you. Do you need a new professional head shot or profile picture? Need a confidence boost or a way to celebrate yourself as you hit a birthday milestone? This is the perfect choice for you. We can cater to exactly what you need from your portrait session.
Your experience will begin with professional hair and makeup styling, followed by a fully coordinated portrait experience, guarantee to capture beautiful flattering photographs of you.

‘Mother and Daughter’ Makeover Photoshoot Experience

Your Mother and Daughter Makeover Photoshoot is a beautiful way to capture this special connection within a portrait. Both mother and daughter will enjoy professional hair and makeup styling, followed by a personalised photography session. During your session we will capture beautiful individual portraits of you both as well as stunning images of mother and daughter together. This experience gives you an opportunity to capture beautiful images to treasure forever. This session is also an ideal choice for a perfect gift for a loving mum or daughter.

Create your own makeover experience

You can add a professional Makeover session to any photoshoot / portrait sessions. You can also create your own photography experience, which could be especially for sisters, friends, cousins, all the girls in your family – anyone! Simply add £45 per adult and £25 per child (under 14) to your photoshoot price.

Your Viewing Session

After your Makeover Photoshoot we will arrange a mutually convenient time for you to return to the studio to view your photographs, usually around one week later. Your viewing will take place in our private gallery room, where you can relax and enjoy viewing your images as a slideshow. You can choose to bring your family members along with you so that you can make decisions together.
You will be given plenty of time to decide on your favourite photographs and how they can best be displayed around your home – we have endless options for prints, mounts and frames so we can offer the perfect choice for everyone. We are always on hand with advice to help you to create an outstanding piece of art for your home or the perfect gift for a loved one.

You will be able to choose from our wide range of professional wall products, such as frames, canvases, fine art float frames, glass free photo panels and prints to create personal pieces of art for around your home. You can choose from single or multi aperture layouts in a huge variety of colours and styles. The range of options mean that your finished piece will be truly bespoke and perfectly complement your images and home interior.

Our in house printing and framing service allows you to create a bespoke product. All of our products are printed and hand crafted in house using real wood, acid free mounts and Giclee fine art prints by our highly trained craftsmen.

No. Our makeup artist Emma has an extensive makeup kit to suit every skin colour and type.

How long will my Makeover take?

A Makeover takes around 40 minutes per person.

What if I don’t wear a lot of makeup?

Our makeup artist has a natural approach to makeup. She will be happy to work with you to create a look that will enhance your natural beauty.

I contacted Studio 1 via their website regarding a newborn photoshoot. Emma contacted me less than 24 hours from enquiring and a shoot was organised for when my baby was 10 days old. Both Emma and Ashley were very friendly and welcoming.

On arrival, the studio was clean and modern but with a rustic feel. I hate having my photo taken but Ashley made me feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera.

I am very pleased with the final product and so happy that I chose Studio 1 to capture those precious memories. They offer a excellent quality service at very reasonable prices.

After a recent visit to the studio for a photo session. We were greeted by a young lady with a friendly and helpful attitude and great smile. We were offered drinks and made to feel welcome why we relaxed and awaited our session.

The session was really professional and the photographer did really well to engage and entice my children to be natural and amazing. The pictures were processed and edited it a swift and professional manner and upon our return the viewing was conducted professionally and in a smart setting, must note loved the use of the tv to view the images on.

The wide selection of images made choosing almost impossible. Highly recommend and will be visiting again soon. Thank you.

Had two different photoshoots done by Ash and been really pleased each time first was a family one at the studio and 2nd was just recently of mine and my new hubby’s wedding day. The studio is lovely and feels so relaxed. Ash is just amazing at what he does, easy to get along with and you can tell he loves his job.
