Your one hour photo session will offer your family a fun filled get together and a photography gift to treasure, either for yourself or your loved ones. You can bring along your nearest and dearest or invite the whole gang, it’s completely up to you. We have plenty of space for you all in our generously proportioned, comfortable photo studio and reception.
After your session your beautiful framed family photograph will become an important part of your family history and a much loved piece of artwork in your home. Your photographs will capture your personalities, interest and love for each other. Generational photographs also remind us of where we came from – how many treasured photographs do you have from your childhood with your parents or a much loved and missed grandparent? Your family photoshoot will be relaxed and fun from start to finish. We will begin with a chat to gather your ideas and expectations of the photo session. We love to take the time to get to know you and your family, have a little fun and create genuine smiles and expressions for your photographs. We will make sure that your children are comfortable and happy in our presence – how else could we create the perfect shot? Their personalities will shine through in your finished photographs.
You will be invited back to the studio around one week after your photoshoot so that you can view your photographs in our relaxing private gallery room. You can bring along your family members if you would like to choose your favourite shots together. Your photographs will be shown in a slideshow to give you time to see each one properly and we will give you plenty of time to choose. We will be on hand to explain the different options to best display your photographs and we are happy to offer advice on our many options for mounting and framing.

We print and frame in house using only the finest inks and sustainable materials available.
You will be able to choose from our wide range of professional wall products, such as frames, canvases, fine art float frames, glass free photo panels and prints to create personal pieces of art for around your home. You can choose from single or multi aperture layouts in a huge variety of colours and styles. The range of options mean that your finished piece will be truly bespoke and perfectly complement your images and home interior.
Our in house printing and framing service allows you to create a bespoke product. All of our products are printed and hand crafted in house using real wood, acid free mounts and Giclee fine art prints by our highly trained craftsmen.
We always recommend you the wear something that you would be happy to see your self back in on a portrait on the wall. You want the whole family to look good, feel comfortable and confident in what they are wearing. Keep to natural complimenting colours and simple designs. Avoid bold prints, large designs likes strips, polka dots, logos, slogans and cartoon characters as the tend to date photographs and drew the attention from the portrait subject.
It’s always good to bring a bag containing A comb or brush and hair-spray if you use it. snacks if children are involved and treats if pets come along.
If your families have individual hobbies items that relate to these hobbies can be a great personalisation to your photo session. Props can be great addition, too, so consider bringing your child’s favourite book, teddy or toy. In fact anything that reflects their interests or personalities
Our photo sessions last 1-2 hours depending on how many attendants and ages of children but mostly takes about an hour. You can use this time to capture as many different combinations of your family to get a nice selection to choice from after. for example if gran comes a long we can capture gran with the whole family gran on her own and gran with just the grandchildren eat.

I contacted Studio 1 via their website regarding a newborn photoshoot. Emma contacted me less than 24 hours from enquiring and a shoot was organised for when my baby was 10 days old. Both Emma and Ashley were very friendly and welcoming.
On arrival, the studio was clean and modern but with a rustic feel. I hate having my photo taken but Ashley made me feel comfortable and at ease in front of the camera.
I am very pleased with the final product and so happy that I chose Studio 1 to capture those precious memories. They offer a excellent quality service at very reasonable prices.

After a recent visit to the studio for a photo session. We were greeted by a young lady with a friendly and helpful attitude and great smile. We were offered drinks and made to feel welcome why we relaxed and awaited our session.
The session was really professional and the photographer did really well to engage and entice my children to be natural and amazing. The pictures were processed and edited it a swift and professional manner and upon our return the viewing was conducted professionally and in a smart setting, must note loved the use of the tv to view the images on.
The wide selection of images made choosing almost impossible. Highly recommend and will be visiting again soon. Thank you.
Had two different photoshoots done by Ash and been really pleased each time first was a family one at the studio and 2nd was just recently of mine and my new hubby’s wedding day. The studio is lovely and feels so relaxed. Ash is just amazing at what he does, easy to get along with and you can tell he loves his job.
